Ready to experience one of Tucson's unique treasures, and looking to spend a full day on the mountain? This Guided Trip is for you!

Mt. Lemmon has the highest concentrations of climbing routes in Arizona. With a full range of opportunities from 3,000ft up to 9,000ft, it is a guaranteed great adventure! All of that adventure comes with easy access as well, with the vast majority of climbing areas accessible with only a 10-30 miunute walk from the car. As an added bonus, there are an extensive amount of routes that provide breathtaking views of the Sonoran Desert and surrounding Sky Islands with every step up.

In a half-squeeze of Mt. Lemmon, we will explore a few areas over the duration of approximately 7 hours. Since there are a plentiful amount of great climbing areas on Mt. Lemmon, we work with our clients to create a personalized climbing trip that caters to their skillset and aspirations. This information can be discussed before or after trip booking.

  • Climbing Shoes

    Rock climbing shoes are available from Sz. 5-13. Please let Granite Mountain Guides know if you are outside of this range so that they can make accommodations!

    Harness

    Harnesses are available in Sz. XS-XL. Please let Granite Mountain Guides know if you are outside of this range so that they can make accommodations!

    Helmet

    Helmets are available in Unisex sizing for Kids, Young Adults, and Adults

    Closed-toed shoes

    Daypack - Large enough to carry your peronal water, food, and layers as needed.

    Personal Prescription Medications - Including, but not limited to, epinephrine auto-injectors for anaphylactic allergies.

    Sun Protection - Lip balm, sunscreen, wide-brim hats, etc.

    Water Bottle (1L minimum)

    Weather Appropriate Clothing - Layers to help keep you comfortable and/or dry, such as synthetic materials and wool.
